Found Little Blood While Cleaning Sons Ear, Is It Concerning?

hi my son is 2 years old and i just cleaned his ear out with a q tip. i think i barely stuck it in is ear but a little blood is on the q tip. he always cries when i clean his ears, wipe his nose, etc. so i don't know if it really hurts him or not. he is very dramatic all the time. he only fusses if i try to look in his ear or anything like that. he is currently sitting quietly eating a snack. should i be concerned about the few drops of blood?

Hi dear,I had gone through your question and understand your concern. You should be worried, but not too much. It can be just scratching of meatus auditorium, but you can infect external ear.I suggest to drop any antibacterial drops:Cyprofloxacin or apply antibacterial ointment (1%Chloramphenikol) for prophylaxis of infection.
Hope it helps
