Foul Smell From Vagina Post Intercourse, Fishy Odor, Not Urinating Post Sex. Causes And Treatment?

Hi, I ve been visiting my boyfriend who I haven t seen in about 6 months so naturally we ve spent most of the past three days in the bedroom. I was peeing and noticed how badly my vagina smells. Kind of like fish. I know we are supposed to pee after sex ad I haven t been doing that. I was wondering if maybe that s it or should I have it checkd out when I get home? Maybe its just from all the sex?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
A foul smelling discharge from vagina if it is associated with any rashes and vaginal itching is indicative of a vaginal infection- mostly a fungal infection. A vaginal swab culture examination will help in confirmation of diagnosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
