Formation Of A Hole Between Anus And Scrotum After A Popped Up Lump ,What Is The Remedy ?

Hi, I had a lump in between my anus and scrotum which swelled over a few days and then it must of popped or opened up a few days ago. Their was some blood and possible some fluid which cam out over a few days. It was uncountable but not to painful. Now I have noticed its left a hole in this area. what could this be and should I go the doctors due to the hole as its not just a cut its a actual hole a few mm wide.

Hello and welcome to HCM,

I read your uery and understood your concern.

The lump you had was infected cyst / folliculitis and the hole left is where it was opening on the skin. Its perfectly normal to get a few mm wide after drainage of pus. It'll heal on its own.

Meanwhile you should apply topical antibiotic like mupirocin / fusidic acd so that any remnant infection is lost and the open area doesnt get exposed to any other infection.
