For How Many Days I Have To Use Folic Acid 5mg Tablets To Get Pregnant ?
Hi Doctor .. This is sowmya... im 23 years old..weight 46,height 5.3. im using overall tablets from 1 year.now we are planning for a baby. doctor told me that use folic acid 5mg.. how many days i have to use this tablets ? how many days it will take to get the preganancy?

hi welcome to health care magic.see you have to take folic acid whole 9month.it also better you start before 3monthof pregnancy which gud for both u and child development.as you do intercourse at your ovulatory period means at 14day of your period if you have regular period,there are more chance at that time.

folic acid will not help you to get coceived, it is better to have during pregnancy as
a supplimental requirement of body. It is nothing but vitamin, and will not decide course
of your pregnancy. To conceive you had sexual relation during ovulation days ie
13 to 15 days from first day of your last period. thanks

ovral tab will prevent you from conceiving
may be your doctor has prescribed you it for regularising your periods
so if your periods become regular you can go for conceive.
try to have sexual relationship during period of ovulation i.e 14 days prior to the next expected date of period
you can take folic acid till 6 to 9 months. generally it can be started before planning to have a baby
