Dear Sir/madam, there is no time limit for the stent life. In some persons it can get blocked even within hours of putting stent and in some it can last for years ( 5 - 10 yrs ) . currently you are having breathlessness secondary to probable heart ( left ventricular dysfunction ) failure. I suggest you to consult your cardiologist. Titrating medicines and life style changes ( salt and fluid restriction ) will help you. Regarding angiogram, your treating cardiologist should decide depending on your cardiac status. Hope u find this informative.
