Dear Neha,

Please continue with the prescribed medication and ask your doctor to include an antibiotic (if not there already).

folliculitis happens because of blockage of pores in the skin. To prevent reoccurance you should use anti bacterial soaps to cleanse your skin regularly (such as dettol/savlon) and try to keep the affected area dry.

Take care!
