Fluctuating Blood Pressure. Taking Diaretic. Normal? Anything To Worry?

my cardiologist does not seem to mind that my blood pressure fluctuates from 120/80 to 120/90 to 150/80 she has me on a diaretic and tells me to not worry so much it is normal for your numbers to go up and down i have been monitoring it at home is this ok i always thought that you should control your numbers to 120/80 iam a 51 year old female 20 pounds over weight very active no other conditions i

The range is 90 to 140 / 60 to 90 mm Hg
Drugs take time to stabilise – if the level is 150 after several days, you may have to take an additional drug...
