Flu Followed By Cold, Sore Throat, Severe Cough, Have A Bulge In Perineum Area Outside Anus. Cause?

I recently had the flu for about 4 days, and after only 3 days well, caught the worst cold I have ever had. It started with headaches, stuffiness, then moved into my ears, both were plugged for a couple of days. Then it moved to a sore throat for a couple of days, and finally settled in the lungs with a terrible cough. After a couple of days of uncontrollable coughing fits , I now have a bulge in the perineum area just outside the anus . At first I thought maybe I had coughed so hard as to cause a hemhorroid or something, but it isn t. Its just kind of swollen and sore. M/42
