Flotral 10 For Recurrent Prostatitis

prescribed flotral10mg for recurrent prostatitis .how long can one take safely. i am 57 and have been having this problem for the last 8-10 years.also taking urimax 0.40mg. also get my psa checked annualy and is in normal limits.i also get pain and burning sometimes around anal region and othertimes below the navel in fact it is sometimes all around the pelvic region.urine cultures have often shown bacterial infections for wich course of antibiotics is often taken eg.ofloxicine.ultrasounds show 40 to 60ml as residual urine.prostate size shows 25 to 40 grams

Hi,thanks for query.As you are not emptying bladder completely after each urination recurrent urine infection occurs.Please consult a urologist if not yet consulted.Though the size of prostate is moderately enlarged ,in some cases still surgery is advised and will definitely help.Please visit a urologist.Pain and burning around anal region or below naval is not related.
