Flaking Skin On Nipple. Have Nipple Piercing. White Discharge, Hard Tissue Formation

I Am a 32 year old female with an problem that has started in my left nipple .there is flaking dry looking skin on the areola and a redness that has just recently started.I have a nipple piercing that I have had for over 10 years and have had no infections ect associated with it but now I have hard tissues around nipple and a blister like pimple forming under nipple.There has been discharge wheat in colour and it is exsiting a small amount periodically out of piercing hole.......but piercing site does not seem to be the site of where all the problems are coming from.

Hi this should be examined by your doctor once to rule out any underlying problem. The signs of flaking dry looking skin, redness, feeling hard tissues around nipple and a blister like pimple forming with wheat colour discharge suggests some pathology in the breast. This may be infected gland with pus coming out or other cause. You may required to get done complete haemogram, mammography and chest X ray.
