First Trimester Screening Test, Rubella Test Positive. Is It Normal?

Hi my name is Hani I got my tests today for the first trimester screening . All the test came out in the standard rage except for the rubella test which came out positive and the standard range said negative. The doctors office at kaiser closes at12 on Wednesday and so I can t call my doctor to see if it s normal or not. Should I be worried?

Rubella is an infection can lead to malformed babies if positive in first trimester.

I would suggest you to visit the gynaecologist and get other rubella related tests.

Based on the readings the risk involved in the pregnancy can be estimated.
