Fibroid In Ovary, Stomach Pain. Suggestions?
Have been told I have a grapefruit size fibroid sitting on my ovary, was having no pain ,today all day sharp intense stomach pain sometimes very sharp like double over sharp.Am almost 55 could one be related to the other. Also most of my life my stomach could swell to the point of looking very pregnant and return to flat the next the next day,any thoughts

Tumor in ovary is called ovarian tumor Not as fibroid. Fibroid and ovarian tumors are not interrelated. Ovarian tumors may be benign or malignant. I suggest you to do an USG to find out whether it is a ovarian tumour / a uterine fibroid. Depending on that the treatment varies. By considering your age I feel i could be a ovarian tumor.
