ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

Thanks for writing to H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding sore throat, cough with expectoration, blocked both ears and sputum colour varies from yellow to brown and some times has blood.

Your history of illness reflects as you are suffering from respiratory tract infection with eustachian tube dysfunction. This eustachian tube obstruction give rise to feelin of blockade in both ears. your respiratory tract infection has involved your lungs as well. Therefore these investigations are necessary for you-

(a) X-Ray chest -P.A.view.

(b) Culture and sensivity of throat swab.

(c) X-Ray paranasal sinuses (occipitomental view).

(d) Sputum for Afb.

By a thorough examination and clinical co-relation of inferences of investigations one mayn reach to a diagnosis which may accordingly manage.

Regards.
