Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I got up out of bed and suddenly felt dizzy and hat to sit down. The dizziness went away in a few seconds. It has happened two times this week. I was wondering what causes this. I take blood pressure pills and did not take them for a few days. I also had two cortisone shots in my knees on 12/30/13 to alleviate the arthritis pain in my knee caps.
Not necessarily from elevated pressure! Conditions like Postural hypotension / anaemia / Inner Ear disease / TIA (Transient Cerebro vascular insufficiency) and o on – need evaluation See an Internist / get yourself examined / investigation may be necessary...
