Felt Dizzy Due To Possible Raise In BP Level

I got up out of bed and suddenly felt dizzy and hat to sit down. The dizziness went away in a few seconds. It has happened two times this week. I was wondering what causes this. I take blood pressure pills and did not take them for a few days. I also had two cortisone shots in my knees on 12/30/13 to alleviate the arthritis pain in my knee caps.
