Felt a pop in back left calf, immediate pain, feel something come out of place from the muscle. What could it be?

I was in a cycling class at the gym, I felt a pop in my back left calf , with immediate pain following. I could barely walk to my car. When I felt the pop, I could feel something come out of place or separate from the muscle. What could it be? I m still limping a day later and the back of my calf feels very tight.
