Felt A Lump Attached To Tendon/muscle, Now Lump On Neck. Is It To Be Worried?
Hi Dr, about 7weeks ago I felt a pulsating/throbbing feeling on my left side. When I put my hand up to feel I felt a small pea sized lump that seems to be attached to a tendon/muscle. I went to ENT and the doctor said it's too small to worry about and it's prob just a lymphnode without ultrasound. Now 2 weeks on I've found smaller lump like a pellet on the right side of my neck because of a small pulsating experience! I don't feel tired, have the same energy as usual, go to the gym 3 times a week. Lift weights and smoke about 7 to 10 per day! Should I be worried?
Welcome to Health Care Magic.Pulsations from the carotid arteries may be transmitted to the nearby muscles/soft tissues. The pellet like lump would probably be a lymph node, lymph nodes are common in the neck,I would agree with your ENT doctor that it would probably be a lymph node.
