Fell Down A Flight Of Stairs. Should I Go See My Doctor Anyway, Or Should I Wait A Little Bit Longer?
I fell down a flight of about 15 concrete stairs 5 days ago. Immediately after I fell I walked all the way across my college campus. Then that night I went to an audition where I had to dance for an hour and stand for another hour and a half. The next day I went to school and then went to the ER. The doctor said that I sprained my back and my neck but we did not do any Xrays. I was given Ibprophen, Vicodin, and a muscle relaxer. I am not bruising but the pain still isn't subsiding. On a scale of one to ten I would still rate my pain at about a 7. My lower back hurts, my neck hurts, and it hurts right under my shoulder blades. The doctor asked me if I was having trouble going to the restroom. I said no at the time, but since I have fallen I have not been able to have a bowel movement. He said it would take 7 days to have the pain be completely gone, but to see my doctor in two. I don't really like my primary care doctor because she doesn't listen to what I have to say. All of this being said, should I go see my doctor anyway, or should I wait a little bit longer?

Thatt'' s really awwfulllllllllllll to fall from stairs. Take care of yourself. Take enough rest and please see your PCP ,.

I went to my PCP. She told me it is just a severe muscle spasm and that I should be better in 7-10 days from the fall. Today is day 7. I am not better. She won't refill my muscle relaxer or my vicodin because now, I should be better in 3-4 days. I had such bad muscle spasms today that I jumped out of my seat in class, and at a tattoo parlor and had people staring at me. I only have 3 vicodin left and about 5 muscle relaxers. I really do not know what to do at this point. I can't stand for more than 10 min, I cant stand up straight at all, even sitting and lieing down hurts.
