Feeling Of Blood Rushing Into Head, Dizziness, Ears Ringing. Take Medication For BP. Possible Reason?

Frequently (once or twice in some days) I feel the blood rushing to my head. During this event a get dizzy, hear ringing in my ears, and feel like I will faint. I fainted only once, 4 years ago. This usually happens in the mornings and the patterns is unclear. Most times it happens while working on the computer with little prior physical exertion. I have taken my BP after such spells and it is normal . I am overweight and I do take medication for high BP. I am almost convinced that these symptoms have more to do with GERD or diet, than with the heart.I do not have diabetes. Any advice? Thanks

Hi, you are using medicines for hypertension, and tends to fluctuate, some times, say during mental tension, anxiety, excitement etc.
If the spells are not frequent, it is O.K. other wise you consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe alprazolam at night besides bp medicines. Thank you.
