Feeling Dizzy Quite Often

Hi. I'm and 11 year old girl and I get dizzy spells a lot. When I'm sitting down or standing up it will feel like I'm about to pass out. I get them about 2 or 3 times every two days. Is this normal? And I not what might I have? Do I need to go to a doctor?
