Fatigue And Weight Gain. Thyroid And Blood Test Came Clear. Would Switching From Lansoloc To Topzole Cause This?

Hi I have been taking lansoloc and now changed to topzole but have put on 6kgs in the past 6 months I also feel extremely tired and of recent my hair seems to be falling. I follow a diet by the dietician and have a personal trainer and exercise twice a week. Have done numerous blood tests and my thyroid function is normal. Can this be the reason for increase weight gain.

I am so sorry to hear about this fatigue and weight gain. These symptoms seem so suggestive of a thyroid pathology that I will suggest you get this checked out again. What were the values of the TSH? Normal or in the high normal range?

Switching from lansoloc to topzole cannot be a possible explanation for this weight gain. Also, how is your mood? do you think you could be depressed?Depression may expalin some of these symptoms especially fatigu and weight gain.
