Fatigue And Nausea After Meal, Stomach Makes Growling Sounds, Muscle Twitching. Suspect Viral Gastritis

HI, since last month I feel fatigue and nausea after meal. My stomach also keeps making extreme growling sound I have never experience it before. I went to gp, he said probably because of virus but until a month the symptoms still don t go away. And I also have muscle twitching all over my body. I suspect it is a viral gastritis but I m just not sure about it since I did my own research. I hope someone can answer this thanks

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, it seems that you might be having gastritis.

You should take an antacid like Omeprazole 40mg once a day before meals along with Domperidone 30mg.
Digestive enzyme preparation containing pepsin and fungal diastase twice daily and a probiotic will have an added beneficial effect.

Following precautions will be helpful :-
1.Avoid spicy and oily foods.
2.Avoid being empty stomach for long periods.
3.Avoid smoking and alcohol, if any.
4.Drink lots of water daily.
5.Avoid gas producing foods like peas, cabbage, legumes, etc.
6.Avoid talking while eating.
7.Avoid eating fast.
