Fatigue and back pain. Blood test done. Need to ask a doctor to understand report?

Hello Doctor, I am Kruthika, I was feeling very tiered and had no energy to work continuously, when I got my boold test done, the report said the below content. I am unable to comprehend the hard core medical treminology, would you please explain me in detail and also would you be very clear whether I am prone to CANCER now or in near future due to this. Because I get severe back pain . The repost is: BLOOD PICTURE, PERIPHERAL BLOOD SMEAR EXAMINATION (Whole Blood) Erythrocytes are normocytic normochromic with mild degree of anisopoikilocytosis. Total and differential leucocyte counts are within normal limites, morphology unremarkable. Platelets are adequate, morphology unremarkable. No hemoparasite seen. Impression: NORMOCYTIC NORMOCHROMIC ANAEMIA Thank you, Kruthika

Hello Krithiga, to tell it in simple terms- you are suffering from anaemia. Nutritional anaemia can be due to deficiency of iron - iron deficiency anaemia (normochromic normocytic anaemia) or due to deficiency of vitamin B 12 or folic acid - megaloblastic anaemia (hyperchromic megaloblastic anaemia). Bone marrow requires a constant supply of these three nutrients for the production of redcells. Iron is needed for haemoglobin (Hb) function. To raise the Hb level by 1G/dl about 200mg of iron is needed. Growing children, mensturating women & pregnant women need high daily requirements of iron. Anisopoikilocytosis is an abnormal shape & various sizes of RBC that gets destroyed quickly. Anamia causes weakness, fatigue, dizziness & if left untreated leads to swelling of legs & heart problems but not cancer. Worm infestation is a common cause of iron deficieny anaemia. So take Fesovit-Spansule 150mg once a day daily after food till your blood picture improves along with a single dose of Tab. Albendazole 400mg for worm infestation. Vitamin C preparations will improve the absorption of iron.Also take food rich in iron like greens, dates, jaggery etc., regularly.
