The mechanism of the fall was pretty dramatic, and therefore, I think that at a minimum, you should have a provider see you, and document no neurologic abnormalities after the trauma, not necessarily obtaining head imaging if everything is OK after 24 hours. The main red flags after head trauma
are difficulty with vision, speech, memory, gait, incontinence
, somnolence, worsening nausea
or headache; however, there may be more slight manifestations of neurologic damage.
