Fainted With Fits. Prescribed Epilex Chrono. Any Side Effects ?
my son 18 yrs old fainted and he is affected by fits and then we took him to hospital and they took MRI ,CTS, EEG and blood calcium sample and every result is normal but my doctor has prescribed to take epilex chrono 300 for three months will there be any side affects for him why i am asking this is because he is moving to college far from my place and going to stay in hostel so please let me know your answer soon pls

Your son has been prescribed with epilex chrono which contain sodiumvalproate as active ingredient.
there are few possible side effects like diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain.
Increased appetite and weight gain,Decrease in the number of platelets in the blood ,Temporary hair loss ,Aggression.,Hyperactivity,Shaky movements b because these side effects have been stated it doesnot mean he should suffer from these side effects.
