Facial Injury, Swelling In Cheekbone, Eye Lid. Self Healing Injury?

I fell on friday night and hit my face on the bathtub. My cheek bone and eye are really swollen and my eye turned red this morning. No apparent damage to the eye itself, just very swollen cheek and eye lid. Should I go to the doctor or is it something that will heal on its own? And how to speed up the process as I ve got school Monday night and it s no better today than yesterday.

Hi!
WELCOME TO HCM!
You seem to have soft tissue injury which will heal on its own but since the eye lid is swollen and eye turned red so need an evaluation by an opthalmologist.
you can take over the counter antiinflammatory analgesics to speed up healing and cold compresses will help.
take care!
