levels range from 11.5 mg/dL to 17.5 mg/dL depending on gender. 11.5 isn't dangerous, though it is a bit lower than the average. You may try taking an iron supplement and try eating more red meat and vegies.
Regarding your symptoms, my suggestion is to take vitamin B supplements. Because anemia
and burning sensations in extremeties can be also caused by this defficiency. Visit your GP and discuss with him which sort of supplements is the best to you, orally taken or by injection.
