Expired After Vomiting Blood, Had Been Recovering Well From Tumor Operation. Reason For Sudden Death ?
my grand father expired on 23rd of this month after vomiting blood....he has been complaining of pain originating from spine leading to his heart...been taking physiotherapy sessions and said he had temporary relief.....he under went an operation for tumor an year ago and has been recuperating well.....what might be the reason for his sudden death

However common causes for such a devastating vomiting of blood which takes away the life of patient can be rupture of varicose veins (related to liver failure), sudden rupture of a gastric ulcer, rupture of lower part of food pipe by repeated vomiting, bleed from a cancer of stomach, food pipe or intestine or rarely rupture of large blood vessel (aortic aneurysm) into food pipe (esophagus).

It appears that he might have massive internal hemorrhage leading to his death.
He might be having high blood pressure and sudden precipitation of high blood pressure might have given this bad incidence.
