Experiencing Vertigo. Having Dizziness. Taking Synthroid. Guide
Hello. I have been experiencing Vertigo sometime moderate to severe since March 31. Room spinning around me, cannot walk and at times knock me off my feet. I have had an MRI of the brain and inner ear with and without contrast and also seen by an audiologist to rule out Menaires (spelling). Saw a chiropractor who said it was occipital bone in my neck and have had several adjustments. Although it has gotten better, I still experience dizziness. I have also had Epley done by a professional. The only medication I am on is synthroid .88 mg. Is there anything else I may be missing that could cause this. At times I have to stay in bed and not move my head at all until I can get up again. I am still not able to lay down on my right side. Thank you for any advise you may have. Pat
You appear to have ruled out any ENT problem by consulting a ENT specialist as also any neurological deficit .Vascular insufficiency ,cervical spine problems, cardiac arrhythmias as also other rarer causes of vertigo may need to be ruled out.A neurological opinion may help.
