Thank you. I am a fairly fit woman of 83 years. I have had a pacemaker for 15 years ,but am in A.F. ,so on warfrin daily. Last year ,I took severe pains in my shoulders and hips. ESR was not raised, but as painkillers gave little relief, I had a trial of prednisolone which cleared the pain within 3 days. I also have recurring uti which needs a low dose of Trimethoprim 100mgs daily to keep the infection at bay . For the past 6 months I have been experiencing tingling in my feet & legs and burning feet at night . My hands have also started tingling along with some tremors. My weight is constant at 170lbs ( I am 5 11 ) Ihve no thirst or other signs of diabetes. I do not drink alcohol, or smoke . I have a good healthy diet with plenty of fresh veg etc. Could this be the onset of parkinsons or similar neurological disorder, or just old age ? I would be grateful for your advice.
