Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your complain you have problem of severe abdominal cramps that may be because of gastroenteritis problem. Change in stool consistency more than three months than think about irritable bowel syndrome.

Gastroesophageal reflux disease may cause abdominal cramps. Intestinal obstruction may cause abdominal cramps and other symptoms. Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis. Start a treatment according to the cause. Detailed history and investigation give exact idea about problems.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rachana Goswami
