Experiencing Pain Under Ribs, Numbness, Nausea And Lightheadedness Accompanied. Is It Due To Abdominal Surgery?

I have been experiencing pain under my ribs and in my back on the right side, numbness down my arms, nausea after eating and lightheadedness . I have just had an ultrasound as gallstones were suspected, which shows no obvious signs although there was excessive gas. I have pains in my lower abdomen, but associate this with abdominal surgery from last year - hysterectomy and adhesions fusing womb and bowel etc

Dear friend, welcome to HCM!

The symptoms are vague.
Is there distension of the abdomen? Are you able to pass gases and stools normally?

Excessive gases can cause this.
But with surgery and known adhesions, we should be watchful for obstruction of bowels. The sonography has ruled it out.
But intermittent partial obstruction may occur. Ultrasound may be less accurate in the presence of excess gas.
Please get evaluated if this is not settling, especially if vomitting, distension, constipation increase.

Take care and please keep me informed of your progress.
Good Luck!
I hope to have answered your query satisfactorily.
Thank you!
