Experiencing Heavy Period After Inserting Paraguard IUD. Light Pink Spotting, No Periods, Breast Sore. Pregnancy Symptoms?

Hello, I am currently on paraguard IUD and have been for the last 7 months. Each month has been a very heavy period (which I was warned about) but this month I've had light pink spotting, noticed on two different bathroom trips 2 days apart. It has been 5 days, and still no full on period. My breast are very sore and before the spotting, the left breast was swollen. What could be going on? Am I pregnant? I (got a negative test) is it just crazy hormones? Thanks!

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
In my opinion this is irregular type of bleeding and may be due to .
1. Fibroid in uterus , diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of uterus.As you stated that there was heavy bleeding after IUD insertion from last 7 months. Now light bleeding.So any pathology in the uterus may be responsible.
2 Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease , diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound of both ovaries.In pcod irregular bleeding , dysfunctional uterine bleeding , scanty menses are very common symptoms.
3 Hormonal imbalance may the another reason as there is tenderness in breast , irregular bleeding present.Get in blood for estrogen, androgen , LH/FSH ratio.
In my opinion consult a gynecologist and get his opinion.
