Experiencing Abdominal Pain, Nausea With Post Menopausal Bleeding. CT Scan Showed Pelvic Fluid With Enlarged Uterus
I am 48 new in Sarasota-Bradenton area and need a gyn. I am experiencing abd pain and nausea with post menopausal bleeding. CT scan revealed deep pelvic fluid with enlarged uterus (ER visit 12/26) vag ultrasound today showed endometrial lining 8 (cut off told was 5) so a biopsy is ordered. One ovary is active which the doctor doesnt seem to be concerned with. I lack trust in my current gyn (this was only my second visit and since I was established with her having done a pap when I first moved here I knew I could at least get the ball rolling and now that it is, in the wrong direction I must add, I need to find a gyn experienced in the problems of an older woman.
Hi I understand that you had post menopausal bleeding and. a CT. CT showed enlarged uterus with endometrial lining of 8 mm. The first thing which needs to be done is to have a biopsy to rule out uterine cancer. Let me add 9 out of 10 women with bleeding and thick uterine lining do not have cancer but still it is essential to rule it out. It might be one off as well. Let me know if you have any queries. Thanks
