I am 44 years old, I work out quite regularly and eat healthy, low sodium foods, everything non-processed and natural. My blood pressure this morning checked out at 136/66 and my doctor said it was pretty good Can you confirm if this is a good number for me for my age? I m at a healthy weight 5 4 height and 123 lbs.

Hi,

The blood pressure recording is normal at your age though the higher number at 136 is not so good value. It seems like Essential Hypertension.

Check your blood pressure at regular intervals. Keep your diet low on sodium. Work out regularly and eat healthy as you do.

I wish you good health.

Regards,
