Iwent through your problem description. I suggest you not to worry too much. Your friend is healthy of course except for the sleeping pattern. Sleep is something which is a need of the body. A healthy person sleeps at least 6 hours to 8 hours daily. But for lazy people it can go upto 10 or 12 hours. This cannot happen every day but may be once in a week or so. Once he is lazy, he also feels tired, feels as if he is worthless etc. Eats less food and always complain. Thereby loosing temper and health. He will become prone to diseases.
Regarding sweating - I don't think it is associated with life style much. Ask your friend to reduce salt intake and for vigorous exercises. Why do you worry if your friend is not worrying? He and you needs psychological counseling
