Excessive Saliva, Metallic Taste In Mouth, Difficulty Swallowing. History Of Overactive Thyroid. Cure For Symptoms?
I ve had an overactive thyroid on two occasions in the last 20 years that thankfully went away after treatment. I ve been having excessive saliva , a matalic taste & difficulty swallowing for the past couple of weeks. Thought maybe it was my gums although I m not having any other problems in my mouth with teeth or gums. Should I have my thyroid checked?
Considering your past history of overactive thyroid disease, it is preferable to get your thyroid function tested.
