Thanks for your query.
Belching problem is really difficult to control but it can be controlled with life style modification, adherence to drug therapy.

I am giving some advice for your mom which will be beneficial if followed strictly. They are -
1. take pantoprazole tablet 40 mg every morning in empty stomach 30 mins before breakfast
2. take atleast 4litre/day water
3. should have atleast 30 mins of walking after taking major meal before going to bed
4. take food in small quantity but more frequently
5. take some digestive enzymes after taking food
6. do a lever function testing (LFT) in order to exclude liver causes of belching
7. should have an ultrasonography of upper abdomen specially to look for gall bladder and biliary tract
8. routine stool examination especially to look for fat content
9. weight reduction if your mother is obese
10. consultation with a gastroenterologist will be helpful

Thank you.
