Episode Of Rapid Heart Beat With Hand Tremors, Feeling Of Fear, Strange Sound In Head, Difficulty In Sleeping. Reason?

My heart beats fast and my hands shakes. Dint know why i feel like am scared and worried that something is going to happen. Any little noise my heart flys. Theres this strange sound in my head. Find it hard to sleep. Few days ago i had a cough syrup that contained codeine after that i had three cans of beer. That night i felt like i was dying dont know if is the reason i feel this way.

Such episodes of fast beating of heart, trembling of hands and sense of impending doom are usually seen in cases of acute anxiety, acute panic reactions and- in some cases- may be accompanied by some degree of mental depression.

I suggest that you start with meditation and yoga exercises; build up your self confidence and develop a positive attitude. Your negative feelings are misconceived.

To start with, I suggest that you start with the following treatment, for at least 3-6 months :-

1. Cap xxx(20mg) one capsule daily after breakfast, for about 10 days; thereafter, increase the dose to one capsule TWICE daily.
2. Tab xxx(25mg) twice daily after meals.
The effect of these medicines will be seen only after 15-20 days. So, please don't be impatient.

Please revert back to me after 3 weeks of treatment, with the response to medicines.
