Ear itching, yellow buildup, sour milk smell

My ears have been itching for over a year now....yellowish debris builds up a little bit , and comes out as tiny particles, and sometimes smells like sour milk. I ve tried an ear wash and it helps a little bit, but the itching comes back after a few days. Ear wax buils up a little bit as well. Is it possible after all this time something is still down inside my ear canal . what should I do

WELCOME TO HCM.
U R SUFFERING FROM WHAT V CALL AS CHRONIC OTITIS EXTERNA. U NEED TO KNOW THAT WHATEVER THE PRIMARY CAUSE MAY BE FOR ITCHING, BUT ITCHING HAS TENDENCYTO PROMOTE ITSELF.THE MORE U SCRATCH IT,MORE ITCHING U WILLGET. SO FIRST THING TO DO IS STOP SCRATCHING UR EARS TOTALLY. AVOID WATER ENTRY IN THE EARS.PROBABLY U HAV GOT DANDRUFF IN UR SCALP, U NEED TO CHECK IT OUT. IT IS A MAJOR CAUSE OF ITCHING IN LOT OF PEOPLE. SECOND THING TO DO IS TO GO TO AN ENT EXPERT. HE WILL CLINICALLY EXAMINE UR EARS AND WILL CLEAN ANY LEFTOVER WAX. WAX IS ALSO A CAUSE FOR ITCHING. AFTERWARDS HE WILL PRESCRIBE U MEDICINES ACCORDINGLY.
