Ear Infection, Viral Rash, Itchy Arms, Blotchiness. Given Antibiotics. Fear Thrush?

My 2 yr old has a ear infection a couple weeks ago and was given antibiotics. After the antibiotics (few days) he got a rash. I checked it under a glass and put it down to viral rash (something he has got lots of times) now the last couple of days it's clearing up but he's complaining of itchy arms and legs. It's red and blotchy not raised. The only other time he had antibiotics he got thrush from it.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
Rash could be viral , it will go off.
If he has taken a course of antibiotics then no need for it.
Itching will go as the rash decreases
You can give him antihistaminic syrups after consulting your doctor for dosage as weight needs to be known for medicine usage.
feed him properly so that immunity does not fall.
