My Mother is 55 years old ,she is having pain in knee and we got ESR test done..Reports indicate ESR Wintrobe 32 mm,what does it mean

Hi Rakesh, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
ESR stands for erythrocyte sedimentation rate which measures how much inflammation is in the body. In Women over 50 years old it should be less than 30 mm/hr. It is elevated in your Mother which suggests she has a internal Joint Inflammation due to osteoarthritis. Kindly get her evaluated further by her Orthopedist.
