ECG Taken. What Does The Result Mean?

Hi, My brother (29 year old)had ECG few days back and the interpretation is as "T wave abnormality, consider inferiorlateral ischemia" Abnormal ECG. What does it mean and do I need to worry about it?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
Your brother is 29 years and with information available this looks abnormal report, inferolateral ischemia is one cause of such abnormalities, there are many other causes of abnormal ECG.
some valvular abnormality, electrolyte imbalance, even viral infection.
Yes you should not ignore it and consult a good Cardiologist he/she after detail examination if required an X ray chest, 2 D Echocardiography and if required a Tread mill Test may be done to know exact cause of abnormality and may be advised accordingly.

You can utilize premium service and scan and attach the actual ECG to take better opinion.
