Dyspnea On Exertion, Decrease In O2sats. Normal Test Results. Recommendations?

79 year old female. Symptoms dyspnea on exertion. O2sats decrease to 81 walking (in doctors office). Echo normal, CXR normal, labs normal. Completed course of antibiotics with no improvement. The woman is my mother and she is in great health. No meds except synthroid, lisinopril and vitamins. We are stumped. Address. YYYY@YYYY

Hi! Thanks for the query. This is age related and not alarming. As all the investigations reports are normal as such the Vital Capacity of lungs get reduced. A change in Lifestyle will help her and may I suggest go for any one of the bronchodilator Inhalers. See your GP for necessary prescription.
