Dry Mouth For Long Time, Thick Saliva After Eating Spicy Food, Back Pain. Solution?
I have had a dry mouth for the longest time have gone to doctors and they give me the same the meds and I doesn't cure it I cant really eat because everything that I eat is like eating something spicy my saliva is thick and white and I feel a thick layer of saliva on my upper pallet of my mouth also I have had a pain on my back close to my hip I feel discomfort when I sit or lay down and there's times that when I get up from sitting down it takes me a while to straighten my back
HI Thank for asking to HCM The oral infection must be there, this could be first possibility another is salivary gland or duct swelling due to infection, in both these condition clinical examination and imaging study is required, tentatively you can apply some oral gel containing broad spectrum antibiotic, if does not go away then go to see the ENT surgeon, have nice day.
hello , thanks for the query . The dry mouth you are experiencing could be due to various causes such as side effects due to certain medications like antihistamines , pain killers , antibiotics , nerve damage , diseases like diabetes , dehydration , fever can all result in this . I would suggest you to take plenty of fluids , use an oral rinse regularly , avoid spicy food and consult the doctor for treating the cause . The pain in the back could be due to sciatica . it is best diagnosed using an MRI to find the cause . painkillers can also be used to relieve the pain . Thank you
