Dry, Hacking, Persistent Cough, No Phlegm, Sore Throat, Difficulty Breathing. Treatment?

i have a dry hacking cough that won t go away. rx d tess pearls and inhaler but seems to have made my throat dryer and coughs more violent. coughs are dry and violent, no phlegm , no sore throat . can t breathe or get air. then it goes away and i m fine in between. i take cough drops to soothe in between but wish the coughing episodes would stop and they strike at inopportune times.

go for physical examination of your throat by an E.N.T. specialist to rule out any pathology of pharynx and para nasal sinuses, which may cause such symptoms as you are having.
