which results in various symptoms
the degeneration may be faster or slow
there is no preventive drug
there are drugs to reduce the symptoms of the disease

also called..Shaking palsy...,
it is defect in the release of Dopamine..
(Neurotransmitter) in the Brain...,
characterized by....tremors,muscular rigidity....
repeated voluntary movements........
Treatment side...unfavorable..,
1) only drug induced parkinsonism....will respond
when the drug withdrawn.....
2) the other caused parkinsonism will not respond....,
3) good medicines available....like amantidine....,
L-dopa with carbidopa, orpenadrine...,
only control the symptoms.......there is no cure............
Hense consult good Nuerologist.and follow accordingly...

Hi.. Parkinsonism is a chronic condition.. The treatment that are available presently are only preventive and not complete cure.. Recent studies of stem cell therepy are in progress for finding a probably cure.. Lets hope this study succeeds in finding us the cure of parkinsonism and many more chronic disease... Untill then, you may have to wait.. Or you can become part of this study, since there are no severe ill effects of this procedure and hope this therapy succeeds...
