Drank Smoothie With Broken Plastic Spoon. Not Nauseated. Ate Banana And Grapes. What To Do?

Hi, I was making a smoothie and mixed ingredients with a plastic spoon. I covered the cup and failed to remember the spoon inside. I drank the smoothie then noticed on the bottom of cup that there were pieces of the spoon. I know I drank a good amount because the remains inside the cup were few. I am not nauseated nor do I have stomach pain. I had a banana and grapes with lots of water to see if it would help pass the plastic.

Hello! Get Xray abd to see the position of the pieces of spoon. If they are in esophagus then they have to be removed urgently with the help of endoscopy. If they are in stomach you can still wait for 7-10 days, meanwhile get serial xray to see if they are progressing down, if not they have to be removed again. However if they are in small or large intestine then they cabe expected to pass down through the anus in stool. I hoe this will resolve your querry. keep in touch
