Drainage, Fluid And A Little Blood, Are These Normal After Taking An Injection To My Ear ?
I received an injection in my ear two days ago for dizziness . They told me there would be some drainage, fluid and a little blood . There has been more than a little blood. Just cleaning the outer portion of my ear I have cleared a lot of clotted blood. I can barely hear in that ear. I believe that the clotted blood in blocking my hearing. Is this normal and will my body eventually absorb this blood?
If properly infiltrated I do not think so there should any of these above things. It is difficult to remove blood clots by yourself. You get back to your ENT specialist and request him to clean the ear for you, he will do so.
