Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding your ear problem even after tympanoplasty.

By your clinical story it appears as you were suffering from hole in ear drum along with recurrent ear discharge and loss of hearing.

For the above problem surgical correction by tympanoplasty is the only way of treatment. Swelling over face on the operated side some times appears ,but mostly this disappears in 3 or 4 days by medical treatment in the form of-

a- Antibiotic.

b- Analgesic and anti inflammatory.

c- Proteolytic enzymes like - Trypsin and chemotrypsin.

I hope this will help you.

Regards.
