Hi and thank you so much for this query. May be you have been very lucky never to miss any of your periods since you started menstruating without being preganant. Missing menses is very common in women during their reproductive years. The most common cause is that no reason is actually identified and it does not represent any abnormality in the reproductive system. Having had tubal ligation and also a negative pregnancy test, please keep pregnancy out of this. I will suggest that you get patient enough and if you menses should not occur by next expected period or you develop any other concerning symptoms, then consider seeing your OBGYN.
